Regional tournaments will be held in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch on Saturday 13th March. Each of these tournaments comprise three rounds called “Physics Fights”. In each Physics Fight teams perform the roles of Reporter and Opponent.

The top two teams from each regional tournament proceed to the National Final to be held in Wellington on Saturday 27th March. Teams from Auckland and Christchurch will fly to Wellington on the Friday afternoon and will be accommodated overnight in Wellington. Teams will be assisted in meeting the cost of travel to and from Wellington. Parents and students are asked to note the details regarding NZ Team Selection.

This final will comprise two Physics Fights, in each of which each team performs the roles of Reporter, Opponent and Reviewer.
