The New Zealand squad of eight members is selected at the National Final. The winning team plus five other individuals will be invited to join this squad. Each member of this squad will be given a new problem to research and will present their “solution” at the Team Selection Meeting. The best five squad-members will then be selected as the New Zealand team.
